Claire was born and raised in Germany and had her first experience of creating art at a very young age. She loved to experiment and explored different mediums and mirror her surroundings in her art. She was very much shaped by Impressionism and its bright and emotional colors. But also by her father, who was a very creative and talented painter. She could remember being fascinated by the beauty and depth of his paintings early on.
During her High school years she was involved in many art projects and would rent her own art studio with a couple of friends. After High school she studied a few semesters art history but decided fast that it was too theoretical for her. She wanted to have a bigger impact on people by working with them hands on. So she decided to become an Art Therapist. During her studies, in her off time, she organized Art Therapy groups for children and adults with refugee backgrounds. In 2019 she got married to her husband and with that moved to the States. Since then she has been exploring her new surroundings and settling into her new home. Her art is mostly influenced by the beauty of nature and has a rather playful side to it.
She is all about bringing across the joy of painting through her creations.
